Africa Time 
feature film script

I spent two weeks in Kampala, Uganda working with a Eddy Balwase, Petit Iriho and Alex Villar to write v1 of Africa Time. I then returned to the United States and spent another two weeks working with Denver's Youth Poet Laureate, Toluwanimi Obiwole to write v2 of the script.

​"Africa Time" is a romantic comedy about a down-on-his-luck African American combat veteran who travels to Uganda for the first time, navigating culture shock, self-discovery, and the complexities of identity—all while savoring love, laughter, and a whole lot of food.
